A civic education session was held at U. Kushekov Agrarian-Technical College for students of group 1AU1, dedicated to explaining the President of Kazakhstan’s Address to the Nation. The event was attended by the group curator Zhuldyz Bagdatkyzy, head librarian Aigul Bekbaulova, and librarian Saltanat Kuantaeva.
During the session, the key directions of the President’s Address were explained, including the development of the education system, support for youth, modernization of agriculture, and economic advancement. Students actively engaged in discussions, exchanging opinions on the issues raised in the Address.
In her speech, head librarian Aigul Bekbaulova highlighted the initiatives related to education outlined in the Address, emphasizing that high-quality education for youth is the foundation of the country’s future. Librarian Saltanat Kuantaeva encouraged students to read books, pursue personal development, and actively utilize the library’s resources.
The session concluded with a tour of the college library, where students explored the book collection, reading rooms, and electronic resources. Library staff explained the procedures for searching, borrowing, and using books, and introduced students to engaging literature.
This civic education session facilitated students’ understanding of a nationally significant document, enhanced their awareness of the country’s development priorities, and increased their interest in the library.
